Step 1  Review 第一步  复习(时间: 10分钟)

复习Topic 2中的有关句子,导入新课。

1. (小组竞赛,列出已学过的服装名称。说出最多服装名称的小组为获胜者。)

T: Now work in groups, and list the names of clothes as many as you can.

2. (看图对话,复习Topic 2中的一些句子。并呈现新单词model)

Example:

T:  What do you think of her dress?

  S1: It’s very beautiful.

  S2: What a nice dress!

  T:  What’s it made of ? Guess.

  S3: Wool.

  T:  No.

  S4: Is it made of cotton?

  T:      No.

  S5: I think it’s made of silk.

  T:      Yes, you are right. Oh, boys and girls, guess again. What does she do?

  S6: I think she is a film star.

  S7: I think she is a teacher.

  S8: I think she is a model.

  T: Yes, you are right. She is a model, a famous model. She is going to show clothes in a fashion show.

  (导入下一步。)

Step 2  Presentation 第二步  呈现(时间: 5分钟)

以问题的形式呈现1a,完成1b

1. (1a录音,回答问题。)

T: Very good. Now please listen to 1a and answer the following questions.

Who watched the fashion show last month?

How was the fashion show?

When will it start?

(学生抢答,教师及时纠正错误。)

(双人活动。两人一组练习对话,并表演对话。)

2. (根据1a,给1b排序,然后两人一组练习1b)

T: Let’s look at 1b and number the sentences according to 1a, then practice it in pairs.

Step 3  Consolidation 第三步  巩固(时间: 10分钟)

巩固1a,练习1c

1. (出示1a图片,呈现1a 中的句子。)

  (板书)

The poster says it will start at 7:30 p.m.  

(指着图介绍两位人物。)

T:   This is Jane. The other girl is Sarah. They are talking about a fashion show in Xidan Shopping Center in Beijing.

T:  What did Jane say?

Ss:      She said that the poster said it would start at 7:30 p.m.

(板书,并让男女生合作练习。)

Jane said,The poster says it will start at 7:30 p.m.

Jane said that the poster said it would start at 7:30 p.m.

Girls: The fashion show will start at 7:30 p.m.

T:     What did they say?

Boys:  They said that the fashion show would start at 7:30 p.m.

Girls:

T: What did they say?

Boys: 

T:  Very good. S1, what are you doing?

  S1:      I am reading English.

  (装作没听见S1的话)

T:  S2, what did S1 say?

  S2:      S1 said that he/she was reading English.

  T:  Very good. Thank you. (拿起一本书) S3, do you like the book?

  S3:      Yes. I like the book.

  T:  S4, what did S3 say?

  S4:      S3 said that he/she liked the book.

  T:  Can I sit down? Oh, what did I say, S5?

  S5:      You asked if you could sit down.

  T:  Good. Thank you.

2. (根据以上练习,看1c图片,双人做对话练习。完成1c)

  T:   Now please look at the pictures in 1c. Read the example first, and then ask and answer in pairs according to the example.

  (教师先讲清楚学生在练习时要注意的问题。)

  T:      OK. Please act out your dialogs.

  Pair 1: I like the dress.

        What did the girl say?

        She said she liked the dress.

(板书)

(提醒学生:因为主句是过去式在从句中必须用过去的某种时态。)

T:      Let’s go on.

(学生回答完问题,教师做总结,总结在宾语从句中要注意哪些问题。)

Step 4  Practice 第四步  练习(时间: 10分钟)

练习2,掌握与衣服有关的名词。

1. (复习有关衣服的名词。学生自查生词表,解决生词,然后按春、夏、秋、冬四季列出各季节服装。)

Example:

(1) Spring clothing: scarf, jeans, …

(2) Summer clothing: T-shirt, shorts, …

(3) Autumn clothing: sweater, jacket, …

(4) Winter clothing: overcoat, boots, …

2. (1) (教师出示课本Page94中五幅放大图,并教授新词purple,让学生观察图片,阅读听力内容。)

  T: Look at the pictures and read the sentences in 2. Pay attention to the new word.

  (板书)

 (2) (教师拿起道具话筒,扮作康康。)

  T: I am Kangkang. We hosted a fashion show last week. There were five models from our class that day. What were they wearing? Let me tell you.

(学生听录音,完成2,根据学生的实际情况放录音1~3遍。)

T: OK. Let’s check the answers.

Step 5  Project 第五步  综合探究活动(时间: 10分钟)

进一步掌握有关海报的内容。

1. (出示时装表演的海报放大图,听1a录音完成海报。学生把答案做成便条,然后贴在海

报放大图的对应位置。)

T: Here is a poster. Listen to the conversation in 1a again and fill in the blanks and write down Jane and her friend’s decision.
